ブーム・スーパーソニック社の超音速実証機XB-1は2月10日、カリフォルニア州南部モハベ航空宇宙基地から離陸、最後となる13回目の飛行試験を行い、超音速飛行を３回実施した。この成功を受けて同社は、今後超音速旅客機オーバーチェアの開発に注力することになる。
