レジェント・シーグライダー、日本での就航開始近づく
商船三井(Mitsui OSK)は、日本航空(JAL)、ロイド船級協会(Lloyd’s Register)およびレジェント・クラフト(REGENT)と共に、レジェントが開発する電動”地面効果翼機 (WIG)”「シーグライダー (Seaglider)」の日本での実用化に協力する事を決め、先に3社が締結した「機体の認証・運航許可の取得を共同で進めるための合意書」に参加、署名した。

金属成分の多い小惑星「サイキ」調査用の探査機、順調に飛行中
NASAは宇宙探査ミッションの一つとして小惑星帯にある金属を多く含む小惑星「サイキ/ Psyche」(プシュケとも呼ぶ)を調べるため探査機を2023年10月13日に打上げた。目的の小惑星の探査は2029年に始まる。プロジェクト管理は、「サイキ」探査機システムの大部分を開発したNASA-JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratory)が担当する。

MQ-9 リーパー無人機は、イラン攻撃の「Epic Fury(大いなる怒り)」作戦で、情報収集やミサイル攻撃に多数使われ大きな成果をあげている。情報筋によるとイラン側の反撃で10機ほどが失われている。
