ジェットゼロ (JetZero)は、2021年にカリフォルニア州ロングビーチ(Long Beach, Calif.)で設立のベンチャー企業。翼胴一体型 (BWB=Blended-wing-body)輸送機開発に取組んでいる。米空軍、NASA、アラスカ航空、さらにユナテッド航空、ガルフ・エア、日本航空等から出資など様々な形の支援を受け開発を進めている。

SpaceXは7月24日に「スターシップ(Starship)」40号機を使った第13回目の打上げで、計画通りインド洋に初めての着水に成功した。
ウエブサイト「Space.com」は8月18日付けで、SpaceXは着水したスターシップ40号機を回収すべく、回収チームが24日間インド洋の荒波に悩まされながら回収作業を続けた。8月７日には、SpaceXは「40号機は水没回収は不成功」と報じた。しかしその後再浮上に成功、8月半ばには静かな海面に曳航することができた。

スペースXは7月24日に、同社のスターベースから巨大ブースターを使い第13回目のスターシップ試験飛行を行った。経過はほぼ完璧で全長53 mのスターシップは、オーストラリア沖のインド洋に計画通りに完全な状態で着水した。しかし残念な事に着水したスターシップを回収すべくオーストラリアに曳航を試みたが失敗、8月7日に水没した。
