令和6年11月は、10月31日北朝鮮が新型ICBMを発射したのに加え、我国および周辺で、中露両軍は領空・領海の侵犯を含め、その活動を著しく増加している。これに対して我国および同盟諸国は、以下に示す様々な軍事演習を実施、反撃姿勢を明確にした。

レジェントが作るシーグライダーは、全く新しい海上交通手段で、飛行機のスピードと船の安い運航費を組み合わせた乗り物である。動力は電動モーターで排気ガスは出ない。現用の地上設備を使って旅客や貨物を乗せ、時速180マイル(290 km/hr)で180マイル離れた沿岸部の都市間を飛行する。
（REGENT seagliders are a new maritime vehicle, combine the speed of an airplane with the low operating cost of a boat. It is all electric zero-emission vehicle operated over water and existing coastal facilities to carry people and cargo up to 180 miles distance at speed of 180 miles/hr between coastal city.
ボーイングの子会社オーロラ・フライト・サイエンス(Aurora Flight Sciences)社は、DARPA（国防高等研究計画局）が計画する試験機、革新型飛行艇「リバテイ・リフター (Liberty Lifter)」プログラムに選定され、設計、製作、飛行を行う。オーロラはフェイズ１として、高翼、単胴で翼幅65 m、貨物22.5 tonを輸送する実証機を製作する。これで飛行艇による高速大量輸送が可能であることを実証する。
(Aurora Flight Sciences, a Boeing Company, is selected the design phase for DARPA’s Liberty Lifter X-plane program, to design, build, and fly that demonstrates revolutionary heavy air lift capability from the sea. For phase 1, Aurora’s concept is high-wing, monohull seaplane capable to carry 22.5 ton of cargo with 65 m wing-span. The seaplane will show benefits of combining transport at the scale of a ship with the speed of aircraft.)
防衛省は海上自衛隊の哨戒能力を向上させるために、ジェネラル・アトミクス社(GA-ASI =General Atomics Aeronautical systems)製の滞空型無人哨戒機MQ-9B シーガーデイアン(SeaGuardian)を選定した、と発表した（令和6年11月15日）。2028年から2038年までに23機を取得する。
(Japan’s Ministry of Defense announced, MQ-9B SeaGaudian has been selected for Maritime Self Defense Force, on November 15. The MQ-9B is remotely piloted aircraft systems made by General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. (GA-AIS), it is a next generation long endurance unmanned patrol plane. Total procurement expected 23 systems by 2038.)
10月27日投票の第50回総選挙は、自民党と公明党の惨敗。与党は過半数割れとなった。
石破内閣の発足直後に、「総選挙に求めるもの」を共同通信が調査したところによると、1位が「景気・雇用・物価高対策」でした。つづいて「年金や社会保障」「子育て・少子化」「外交・安全保障」の順で、「政治とカネ」は5番目でした。
ところが総選挙の終盤戦では、ほとんどのマスコミや政党が「政治とカネ」のワンイシューの選挙となり、自民党もお詫びと弁解がメインになりました。
やはり自民党として、国民の心に刺さる経済政策を提示できていなかった。
