2019年7月17日、JMU横浜造船所で海上自衛隊の最新イージス艦の進水式が開かれ、「はぐろ」(艦番号180)と命名された。2021年(令和3年)3月就役の予定で、これでイージス艦8隻態勢が整う。秋田、山口両県への地上配備型「イージス・アショア」の配備と合わせて、弾道ミサイル防衛システム(BMDS)の能力向上が期待される。

令和元年6月の中露両軍の我が国周辺での活動
6月も中露両軍は我が国周辺で相変わらず活発な動きを見せている。注目すべきは、10日空母「遼寧」をを含む中国艦隊が東シナ海から宮古海峡を通過、太平洋に進出した件、20日にロシア空軍戦略爆撃機の２機が我が国領空を侵犯した件の二つ。(According to the Ministry of Defense, Chinese and Russian Forces movements around the Japanese Islands were kept high during June, 2019. エアバス創立50周年を迎える
エアバスは今年のパリ航空ショーで創立50周年となる。1969年のパリ航空ショーで、フランス・ドイツ両国政府が双発広胴型機A300を共同開発する協定に署名したのを創立としている。企業規模は民間機部門でボーイングに匹敵するまでに成長し、これまでに2万機を受注、1万2000機が使われている。(At the Paris Air Show 2019, Airbus celebrate 50thanniversary, since starting 1969 at the Air Show when France and German Government officials signed up to develop twin-engine widebody aircraft A300. 平成30年度(2018)の空自機緊急発進は999回で過去２番目の多さー対中国機が全体の３分の２を占める
防衛省統合幕僚監部の発表で平成30年度の航空自衛隊機戦闘機の緊急発進回数が999回に達し、過去2番目の多さだったと発表した。これを報じたのは一部新聞とTVの朝6時ニュースで簡単に伝えただけ。我国マスコミは総じて日中国交正常化をに熱心で、中国のイメージを悪くする報道は抑えている。(According to the report issued on April 4, 2019 by Ministry of Defense Joint Staff Japan, Chinese and Russian air invasion into the Japan’s air defense identification zone were kept high as 999 times, in 2018 fiscal year. リアクション・エンジン製の空気吸入式ロケット「サーブル」の試験始まる／Reaction Engine’s SABRE rocket set for test phase
「サーブル」は、燃費の少ないジェット・エンジンと高出力を出せるロケットを一体化したエンジンである。高速旅客機や宇宙船に使うべく英国のリアクション・エンジン(REL=Reaction Engine Limited)社が開発している。(The Sabre engine is part jet, part rocket, relies on a revolutionary new pre-cooler technology. The hypersonic engine is being designed for single stage-to-orbit capability either hypersonic passenger travel in globe.)
クラトス社試作の[XQ-58]無人戦闘機、初飛行に成功
クラトス社は、空軍研究所(AFRL) のLCAAT ( 低価格小型航空機技術) 計画に適合する技術実証無人機[XQ-58A] を開発、3月5日に初飛行を行った。[XQ-58A]初飛行の直前の2月27日にボーイングは、オーストラリア政府と共同開発する無人戦闘機の概要を発表した。こちらはF-16戦闘機とほぼ同じサイズの大型機で、車輪があり滑走路から離発着する。(On March 6, a week after Boeing unveiled a UAV mockup in Australia, U.S. drone manufacturer Kratos completed the first flight of the XQ-58A Valkyrie, an experimental design ordered by the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) 30 months ago, based upon LCAAT program.
