本稿は鳥居徹夫氏の寄稿です。第198国会は「年金だけでは2,000万円不足」問題だけで、波乱もなく閉会、7月の参院選挙を迎えようとしている。しかし、国会議事録が1年以上公表されないと言う異常事態が起こっていた。それは昨年3月9日の杉田水脈(みお)議員の質疑である。NGOヒューマン・ライツ・ナウの抗議とそれに迎合する立憲民主党などにより議事録が公開されてこなかった。

エアバス創立50周年を迎える
エアバスは今年のパリ航空ショーで創立50周年となる。1969年のパリ航空ショーで、フランス・ドイツ両国政府が双発広胴型機A300を共同開発する協定に署名したのを創立としている。企業規模は民間機部門でボーイングに匹敵するまでに成長し、これまでに2万機を受注、1万2000機が使われている。(At the Paris Air Show 2019, Airbus celebrate 50thanniversary, since starting 1969 at the Air Show when France and German Government officials signed up to develop twin-engine widebody aircraft A300. Since then Airbus has deliverd 12,000 and received 20,000 orders.)
エアタキシー用の水素燃料電池使用eVTOLが間もなく初飛行
アメリカの創業間もないベンチャー企業が、5人乗りの電動垂直離着陸機(eVTOL) の製作を進めている。このeVTOLはバッテリーやハイブリッド電動ではなく、水素を使う燃料電池を動力源にしている。5人を乗せて航続時間は4時間、400 miles(640 km)・ほぼ東京―大阪間に相当、の飛行ができる。(A U.S. venture is making a full-scale five-seat electric vertical-takeoff-and-landing(e-VTOL) aircraft that is powered not by batteries or hybrid-electlic propulsion, but by hydrogen fuel cells. The result can fly for 4 hours or up to 400miles between cities like Tokyo and Osaka.)

令和元年5月における我が国周辺での中露両軍の活動は前月に比べ多少減ったものの、依然として続いている。防衛省統合幕僚監部が特異事象として公表したのは次の5件である。(According to the Ministry of Defense Joint Staff Japan, Chinese and Russian Forces movements around the Japanese Islands were kept as usual during May, 2019. Five events were reported.)
ヨーロッパ最大のビジネス航空ショー「EBACE 2019」 ―5月21-23日の間ジュネーブで開催―
