LiDARは光を用いたリモートセンシング技術の一つ。パルス状に発光するレーザー照射に対する散乱光を測定し、目標までの距離やその性質を分析する装置。近年自動運転に必須の技術として注目されている。(LiDAR is one of remote-sensing technologies applying optics.
