海運大手「商船三井(MOL)」のグループ企業「旭タンカー」は、昨年12月22日香川県丸亀市の造船会社「興亜産業」で、世界初の完全電気推進タンカー「あさひ」総トン数499 tonの命名・進水式を行った。このタンカーは「e5 ラボ」社が企画・デザインする大容量のリチウム・イオン(Lithium-ion)電池を動力源とする電気推進タンカー（EVタンカー/EV船）で、CO2、NOXや煤煙などを一切排出しない世界最初のセロ・エミッション船である。2022年3月下旬に完成、貨物船、車輌運搬船、客船などの大型船舶に燃料を供給するタンカー（バンカリング船）として東京湾で就航している。
(World’s first all-electric powered tanker “Asahi” put into service in Yokohama harbor started April 26, 2022 . The vessel powered by electric motor instead of conventional piston engine, The role of the tanker is supplying fuel to large ships, cargo vessel and auto-carrier in or outside of the harbor. Power source is large capacity of Lithium-ion buttery systems provided by KHI, one of the largest ship and defense manufactures in Japan. “Asahi” is the first emission-free ship in such size, and owned by “Asahi Tanker”, a subsidiary of “MOL or Mitsui Osaka Line”, one of the world largest shipping trader.)

米国防総省(DoD)は７月１日午後、ウクライナに対し８億2千万ドルの軍事追加支援を行うと発表した。支出は“安全支援に関わる大統領安全支援基金(PDA=Presidential Drawdown of Security Assistance)”から5千万ドル、“ウクライナ安全支援基金 (USAI=Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative funds)”から7億7千万ドル。これで米国のウクライナ支援総額は、2月24日のロシア侵攻以来69億ドルになる。７月３日には、オーストラリアのアルバニージ首相がキーウを訪問、オーストラリア製ブッシュマスター装輪装甲車を含む1億ドルの軍事援助を約束した。
(July First, the US DoD announced $820 million in additional security assistance for Ukraine. This includes $50 million from Presidential authorization (PDA) and $770 million from USAI. The United States has now committed $6.9 billion since the beginning of Russia’s invasion on February 24. On July 3rd, Australian PM Anthony Albanese visited Kiev first time and committed farther military assistance valued $10 million in addition to previously committed of $39 million.)

　アフリカで流行していた「サル痘（モンキー・ポックス）」が、これまで感染のなかった欧米で急速に広がっている。異例の事態である。WHO（世界保健機関）は緊急委員会を開いて「国際的に懸念される公衆衛生上の緊急事態」（PHEIC、フェイク）に当たるかどうかを協議し、6月25日（日本時間26日）に「現時点でPHEICには当たらない」と発表した。しかし、この異例な事態を深く憂慮し、必要になれば再び専門家による緊急委員会を開くことを明らかにした。

6月15日午後、米国防総省はウクライナに対し10億ドル(1,300億円)の軍備追加支援をすると発表した。支出の内容は “安全支援に関わる大統領安全支援基金(PDA)”から3億5千万ドル、“ウクライナ安全支援基金 (USAI)”から6億5千万ドル。これで米国のウクライナ支援総額は、2月24日のロシア侵攻以来56億ドルになる。(The Department of Defense announced $1 Billion in additional security assistance for Ukraine, at afternoon of June 15. This includes $350 million from Presidential Drawdown Assistance and $650 million from USAI funds. The United States has now committed $5.6 Billion since the Russian invasion on February 24.)

米国の有人月面探査計画の中で９番目となるアポロ15 は 1971年7月26日に着陸、2週間の初の長期探査を行った。船長デービッド・スコット(David Scott)と月着陸船 (Lunar Module )操縦士「ジェームス・アーウイン(James Irwin)」は月面探査車(LRV=Lunar Roving Vehicle)で着陸地の近くを18時間にわたり探査、月の岩石77 kgを採取、持ち帰った。 (When the Apollo 15 landed on the Moon in July 26. 1971, they brought along with then the first Lunar Roving Vehicle for exploring the Mount Hadley area and correcting soil and rocks 77 kg. and brought back.)

NASAが5月9日にジェームス・ウエブ宇宙望遠鏡(JWST)とこれまでの赤外線望遠鏡との比較画像を公開したが、これで予想より数ヶ月早くウエブ望遠鏡の性能が明らかになった。これはJWST主鏡の焦点調整作業の進捗度を示す報告のなかで明らかにされたものである。比較したのはいずれも「大マゼラン雲」内で星々が活発に生成されている同じ区域の写真である。

But the first week of May, NASA released an accidental comparison images as part of JWST’s focusing efforts. NASA pointed the telescope at a star-forming region in the Large Magellanic Cloud. 1. 日本周辺海域で米空母と海自艦艇および空自戦闘機が共同演習
4月8日〜17日の間、日本海、東シナ海、を含む日本周辺海空域で共同演習を実施した。米空母が日本海に展開したのは2017年11月以来のこと。2. ロシア海軍情報供給部、4月14日を最後にニュースを中断
4月14日に黒海艦隊旗艦・巡洋艦「モスクワ」が火災、弾薬が爆発、深刻な被害を生じた、と報じて以来ニュース発信を停止中。3. 米海軍沿岸戦闘艦「ジャクソン」に新型無人ヘリ「MQ-8C」を配備
第７艦隊所属のLCS「ジャクソン」、新型無人偵察・攻撃ヘリ「MQ-8C」の運用を開始した。4. 新型護衛艦/フリゲート「もがみ」の引渡式
4月28日午前、新型フリゲート「もがみ」の引渡式が三菱長崎造船所で行われた。
