ナンシー・グレース・ローマン宇宙望遠鏡は、NASAの赤外線宇宙望遠鏡で、2026年8月30日に打上げられた。現在太陽・地球で構成するラグランジェ・ポイントL2に向け飛行している。名前はNASAのハブル宇宙望遠鏡の生みの親と言われる天文学者から名付けられた。
(The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope is a NASA’s infrared space telescope that was launched on a trajectory toward a Sun-Earth Lagrange point L2 orbit in August 30, 2026. It is named after NASA’s first chief astronomer, the ‘mother of the Hubble Space Telescope.)
